How I Quit Smoking

Well, I just DID IT.

I quit smoking tobacco over 9 years ago and I have never looked back. It wasn't hard at all, once I really decided I did not want to smoke anymore. That was key.

Do you want to smoke anymore?
Let me tell you this - YOU DON'T WANT TO SMOKE ANYMORE.

Because you are wasting money and wasting your life, and wasting the lives of everyone you care about, because you're not going to be around very much longer if you keep smoking.

Say it to yourself: "I don't want to smoke anymore." Does it sound true? When it sounds true, and comes from within yourself. you will easily put away the cigarettes and not smoke one again. And chances are, you won't even have any withdrawal. I didn't.

The "addictiveness" and "difficult withdrawal" is being sold to you by doctors and pharmaceutical salesmen who want to keep you addicted to something, anything, from which they can make money. Such as Nicotine patches, or Nicotine gum. You don't actually need those, it's just sales and marketing.

It is true you may need some help quitting, and help making a real decision.

If you're considering quitting, or know you want to quit, I suggest you visit a resource site such as Smoke Free Reality, where you can find stuff that really can help you quit smoking.

The Smoke Free Reality

Feel good and healthy, have a lot more money to spend on better things, have healthy gums that feel good instead of sore gums and keep your teeth for life instead of losing them when you're young, have better smelling breath, have healthier lungs and heart, hold of heart disease.

These are all part of the smoke free reality.
